Afforded a low budget, and specifically unable to change the actual colours of the pub, the solution was to remove all of the commonly used company branded signage and go for some low-cost signwriting.

The result gives the pub a more 'countryfied' appearance in line with its new style of menu and service.
The hanging sign, a portrait of a Boar's head, looked a little 'cartoony' and its skin was actually the wrong colour and texture.
It was re-done in a more traditional style with a simpler surround, in keeping with the new ethos.
I painted the Boar facing in opposite directions on two seperate boards, so when hung in place, they would always be facing the traffic, by whichever direction it was passing!
